Dr. Cynthia Vaughn graduated in 1984 Summa Cum Laude from the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic. Since 1988, she has been practicing in Austin Texas. Gov. George W. Bush appointed her to the Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners in 1997, and later appointed her president of the board in 2000. Currently, Dr. Vaughn serves as the East Texas Delegate to the American Chiropractic Association (ACA) and is Chairman of the ACA Clinical Documentation Committee. Dr. Vaughn has been the recipient of several professional awards, including the ACA "Dr. John Flynn & Dr. Robert Lynch Memorial Award" for outstanding service and leadership in 2005, and the Keeler Plaque Award" recognizing the Texas Doctor of the Year, in 2007.
In 1977, Dr. James Edward graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri. He was the Chairman of the Board of Governors of the American Chiropractic Association (ACA) and President of the American Chiropractic Foundation from 2001-2003. In 2005, he was named Chairman of the National Chiropractic Legal Action Fund. He was named "Doctor of the Year" by Dynamic Chiropractic Magazine in 2000; and "Chiropractor of the Year" by the American Chiropractic Association in 2004.
