Dr. McMinn's treatment is a synthesis of several areas of expertise, including chiropractic, nutrition counseling, exercise prescription and massage therapy. He provides a detailed and thorough evaluation to each patient that allows him to prescribe and administer a patient care plan tailored to the specific needs of the client. The possessor of a doctorate degree in chiropractic and a bachelor's degree in sports medicine, he is licensed by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and the Virginia Board of Medicine.

Dr. McMinn specializes in Sports Medicine, Family, and Pediatric Chiropractic Care. He has worked with athletes of all ages, from NFL players to the youth he coaches in soccer and lacrosse in Loudon County, Virginia. Dr. McMinn was the Official Team Chiropractor for the Washington Redskins (2001-2003). He works not only with athletes but people from every profession and every walk of life.
